2026 Conference

The Corporate Chameleon: Transformations and Trends in Corporate Law

Sun 1st – Tue 3rd February 2026
The University of Western Australia, Perth

Welcome

Welcome to the website of the Society of Corporate Law Academics (SCoLA), formerly known as the Corporate Law Teachers Association (CLTA).

Our Society, first formed in 1994, has provided a forum for exchange of ideas about corporate law. It also provides a vehicle to link scholarship to government and industry. The Society’s ‘main event’ is the Annual Conference, which draws together eminent and emerging scholars from our region, as well as across the globe.

All eligible academics interested in joining the Society are welcome to do so. Annual membership is free to eligible academics who attend the Conference, and our occasional newsletters will link you to various corporate law events and opportunities that may be of interest.

We hope to see you at our next Annual Conference, to be hosted by the University of Western Australia Law School in Perth in February 2026.
