SCoLA Membership

The annual SCoLA membership is usually free to those who attend our conference, and we invite all eligible academics and university teachers of corporate law and associated subjects to join.

Membership is also available to postgraduate research students in the field of corporate law, who are warmly encouraged to join the Society.

ELIGIBILITY

Please note that the constitution states in Clause 4:

Membership shall be open to:

  • Corporate law academics within Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region;

  • such persons as may, subject to any direction given by a General Meeting, be admitted by the Executive Committee;

  • such persons who have given distinguished service to the Association or legal education as may be elected as honorary life members at an Annual General Meeting of the Association.

If you are not eligible to become a member of SCoLA, you may still become a Subscriber by joining our Subscriber List (Subscribers may also receive news and attend certain SCoLA events).
